May’s Birthstone – Emerald

Emerald is the birthstone for May. It is also the anniversary gemstone for the 20th and 35th years. Emeralds are found mainly in Colombia, Brazil, Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, Tanzania, Egypt and Austria.

Emeralds promote unconditional love and unity, they have a calming effect, and they open the heart chakra. Emeralds bring physical, emotional and mental balance.

Emeralds help to open clairvoyance and psychic abilities. Emeralds help to mend negative emotions, and help the ability to enjoy life.

Emeralds help to strengthen the memory, mental clarity, claustrophobia, sinuses, lungs and the heart. They also help to improve vision.

Emeralds promote understanding among a group of people and stimulate cooperation. Emeralds should not be worn on a constant basis as they can cause negative emotions.
